Encounters 3
In Encounters 3, we explore God’s call to Abram in Book of Genesis 12:1–4 and what it means to step out in faith when God leads us into the unknown.
At 75 years old, Abram is called to leave everything familiar — his country, his relatives, and his father’s house — and trust God for a future he cannot yet see. This message reminds us that we are never too old and never too established for God to call us deeper. His greatest promises may still be ahead of us.
We look at the danger of bringing the familiar into places God is calling us to leave behind, the principle of covenant on God’s terms, and how obedience today carries generational impact far beyond our lifetime. Just as Abram’s “yes” shaped nations, our surrender can reshape our families and future generations.
This sermon challenges us to examine what we may be holding onto — unhealthy attachments, cultural influences, or identities rooted in the past — and invites us to trust God enough to leave them behind. When we say yes to Jesus and follow where He leads, we step into a story bigger than our own lives: generational salvation, transformation, and eternal purpose.
If God is calling you into a new season, this message will encourage you to walk forward with courage, faith, and expectancy.
