Becoming 9
What does it look like for a people formed in the presence of God to take responsibility for the region around them? In Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus calls His followers the salt of the earth and the light of the world, comparing them to a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.
In this message, we explore what it means to carry the presence of God as salt that influences, light that reveals, and watchmen who stand on the walls. God isn't building us into a city of exclusivity, but positioning us as a people who see, discern, pray, and respond to what He is doing in our region.
From the high place of worship to the responsibility of standing watch, we look at how God is forming Ark & Altar into a hub of worship, prayer, formation, connection, and sending for the sake of regional transformation.
What if God has brought us to the high place—not simply so that we could see farther, but because He is calling us to take responsibility for what He allows us to see?
