Higher Ways: Less Is More
What if what looks like less to us is actually God positioning us for more?
In the first message of our Higher Ways series, we look at Gideon and the surprising way God reduced his army from 32,000 men to just 300. God’s ways often challenge our natural thinking because His perspective is higher than ours.
But “less is more” isn’t simply about having less—it’s about learning to trust God’s way. Gideon’s victory came through worship, surrender, and sacrifice: the trumpet, the clay pot, and the torch.
As we surrender our need to understand exactly how God will accomplish His purposes, we make room to trust His Word, His wisdom, and His provision.
His ways are higher. His Word will accomplish His purpose. And sometimes, less really is more.
