Higher Ways 2
What if forgiveness is more than releasing an offense? What if it is an invitation to partner with the heart of God and make room for His Kingdom to advance through our lives?
In this message from our Higher Ways series, we explore the power of forgiveness and how unforgiveness can hinder our faith, affect our relationships, and keep us carrying a burden God never intended us to hold.
Through Matthew 18, Romans 12, and Philippians 2, we discover that forgiveness is a deliberate, self-sacrificial choice to release our right to personal revenge and entrust judgment to God. Instead of repaying evil with evil, we are called to overcome evil with good, demonstrating the same kindness and love that God has extended to us.
Forgiveness does not mean excusing wrongdoing, eliminating healthy boundaries, or removing appropriate accountability. It means entrusting justice to God rather than allowing offense to govern our hearts.
Could our lives become an expression of worship—not only through the songs we sing, but through the love, grace, and forgiveness we extend to those who have hurt us?
The higher way is to release judgment into His hands, walk in love, and make room for the will of the Father to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
